We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our visitors. Those sites will continue to show a wind speed of 0 MPH at all times until such time as the replacement wind gauge can be installed. Wind Data Feeds to CWOP have been suspended, but sites such as Weather Underground do not allow for selective data transmission. Unfortunately, do to very limited resources, we have no ETA on when a secondary mast can be obtained and eventually installed.Īs a result, D2149 will be unable to report wind speed data to our own site or any of our partner weather sites until further notice. The top of the existing mast is unreachable through conventional means, so the only viable solution will be to erect a secondary mast on the roof of the house adjacent to the ISS Mast and then fit our new back up Anemometer to the top of the new mast. We still have wind direction data via the vane but obviously no longer any wind speed data. Sometime overnight, the Anemometer's Cup Assembly detached from the body of the gauge and fell to the ground, rendering the device inoperable.
